Posted: Updated:

The Rays survive!  Catcher Jose Lobaton's ninth inning solo home run off Red Sox closer Koji Uehara rallies the Rays past the Red Sox, 5-4 to keep their ALDS series alive.  Boston leads the best of five series 2-1 heading into Tuesday's game 4 in Tampa.

With the Red Sox leading 3-0 in the 5th, Evan Longoria blasted a three-run home run off Boston starter Clay Buchholz to tie the score.  After the Rays took a 4-3 lead in the 8th on a Delmon Young groundout, Boston tied things at 4 in the top of 9th on a Dustin Pedroia groundout.

Game 4 will have Jake Peavy facing Jeremy Hellickson at 8:30pm.
