Red Sox tender Napoli, Drew and Ellsbury

The Red Sox have tendered first baseman Mike Napoli, shortstop Stephen Drew and outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury today to a one-year, $14 million qualifying offer.  The team had until 5pm (ET) Monday to do so or risk losing them without compensation.  The players can agree to the offer, negotiate a long-term deal with the team or if they choose to sign elsewhere, Boston would receive either a first or second round draft pick depending on the team.

Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia was not qualified an offer by the Monday deadline.
