Broncos dominate Patriots - win AFC Title


The Broncos are heading back to the Super Bowl as they dominate the Patriots 26-16 in the AFC Championship Sunday in Denver.  The Broncos rolled up over 500 yards of offense (507 to be exact) as New England never recovered from CB Aqib Talib's first half injury that put him out for the rest of the game.

Talib was hit by Denver, and former Patriots WR Wes Welker and left the game with a rib injury in the second quarter.  After that, Peyton Manning targeted Demaryius Thomas (7 catches for 134 yards, 1 TD) often as the Broncos rolled out a 20-3 lead.

Manning went 32-43 for 500 yards and 2 TD's as the Broncos scored a six consecutive drives.

It'll mark the 3rd trip to the Super Bowl for Manning.  Super Bowl XLVIII will be in at MetLife Stadium where Eli Manning just happens to play QB for the Giants, one of the home tenants of MetLife Stadium.

Tom Brady threw for 277 yards and 1 TD while running for another score.  The Patirots rushed for just 64 yards as they ran the ball just 16 times.
