Red Sox visit White House

The Red Sox have had their day at the White House.   The World Series Champions were honored Tuesday by President Obama as the most celebrated and winning team in baseball for the last decade (3 World Series Titles).

Despite mispronouncing Mike Napoli's name wrong, the President did manage to get himself a "#44" Obama jersey from the team and inclusion into a David Ortiz selfie as he presented the President the jersey.

After a White House reception, the team was scheduled to visit patients at Walter Reed Hospital.

Boston, after losing Opening Day to Baltimore, resumes its series with the Orioles on Wednesday.
