The good news for the Boston Red Sox Monday is that second baseban Dustin Pedroia does not have a broken wrist, according to reports out of Boston (ESPN Boston). Pedroia said he had "great news" concerning the wrist Monday, but no word yet on when he will return to the team.
Pedroia left the team in NY to head back to Boston for tests. No word on whether he'll head to Chicago to join the team for Tuesday's start to the series against the White Sox.
Pedroia hurt the wrist turning a double play in last week's series against the Brewers.
