Report: Cetlics trade for Zeller and Thornton

Posted: Updated:
The Boston Celtics have acquired center Tyler Zeller and Marcus Thornton as well as a first round pick as part of a three-team trade with the Cavaliers and Nets according to various reports Wednesday.   The Celtics will send a 2nd round pick to Cleveland as well as absorb the two player contracts through their $10.3 million trade exception.

As part of the deal, the Nets receive Jarrett Jack and Sergey Karasev as the Cavs clear cap space in an attempt to woo LeBron James back to Cleveland.

The deal can't be completed until Thursday under NBA rules.
