Patriots are World Champs!

The Patriots rallied from 10 points down in the fourth quarter to beat Seattle, 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX. With it, the Pats win their fourth NFL Championship in team history.

Tom Brady (37-of-50 for 328 yards and four touchdowns to win SB MVP) hit Julian Edelman with the go-ahead touchdown with just over two minutes to go to erase what had been a 24-14 Seahawks advantage.  After an unbelievable tipped catch by Jermaine Kearse got Seattle down to the five yard line, Malcolm Butler intercepted Russell Wilson on the goal line with 20 seconds left in the game to seal the victory for New England.  The Patriots have now won four titles in the past 14 seasons.

With the victory, Brady ties Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw for most Super Bowl wins (4) and passes Montana for most TD passes in Super Bowl history (13). Brady also wins his third Super Bowl MVP, joining Montana for top honors.

A Championship Parade will be held in downtown Boston Tuesday at 11am.
