Some detours remain for RIPTA

DETOURS REMAIN IN PLACE FOR SOME RIPTA ROUTES AS STATE CONTINUES TO DIG OUT POST BLIZZARD

Heavy Traffic Causing 30 to 45 Minute Delays on Almost All Routes

As the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) runs full service for the second day following Winter Storm Juno, there are still detours on nine routes due to snow or ice on the roads. As a result, RIPTA Routes 1, 17, 18, 27, 29, 34, 49, 80,and 92 are on detour and those detours are listed below. RIPTA will continue to restore regular travel patterns on those routes as conditions allow. Passengers are encouraged to check www.RIPTA.com for updates throughout the day.
