FREE Photography class at Cranston Public Library

Photography Fundamentals Class to Be Held at Cranston Public Library

On Tuesday, April 14, local photographer Matt Celeste will lead a free workshop in "Photography Fundamentals" at the Cranston Public Library's Central Library. This beginner's class, starting at 6:00 pm, will explore basic photography concepts, including the impact of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed on a photograph's final exposure.

Participants in the class should have access to a camera with the ability to photograph in "manual mode," a setting which allows the photographer to adjust for aperture, shutter speed and ISO. (DSLR and mirrorless cameras have this capacity, as do many recent point-and-shoot camera models.)

Photographer Matt Celeste has been shooting for and operating Cranston-based Blueflash Photography for nearly five years. Explore their work at www.blueflashphotography.com.

More information can be found on the Cranston Public Library website at www.cranstonlibrary.org.

The Central Library is located at 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd, Cranston RI 02920.
