Providence Gay Men's Chorus Brings Its Spring Concert to Providence Public Library, June 4 – 7

– Providence Public Library (PPL) and DON'T STOP THE MUSIC! presenting sponsor Rosalyn Sinclair are pleased to announce that the Providence Gay Men's Chorus (PGMC) will bring its annual Spring Concert – this year themed “Get Happy” – to the Library as part of PPL's three-month celebration of the celebration of this history of music in Rhode Island. The concert will take place from Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows are from 7 – 9 PM and the Sunday show is from 4 – 6 PM in Providence Public Library's Auditorium, 150 Empire Street, Providence. The ticket cost for this event is $25. (Buy tickets online. Tickets also available at the Library's Circulation Desk (cash or check only) or may be purchased at the door based on availability.
In keeping with PGMC's ongoing tradition, their Friday evening concert will be a benefit for the PPL! So come get happy with Artistic Director Kim Kuda and the PGMC as they sing the sounds of our life. It's guaranteed to make you smile, tap your foot, and hopefully sing along.

DON'T STOP THE MUSIC, multi-faceted exhibition and program series, began April 2 with the opening of the in-library exhibit entitled “From Pop to Punk: Highlights of 20th Century Music in Providence.” The exhibit will run through June 30.
