"I'm focused on expanding opportunities for all Rhode Islanders," said Raimondo. "A good education sets our students on a path to success and unmet financial needs should not stand in their way. I am honored to serve on the Student Loan Authority and hope that my background in public finance and corporate law will be helpful in this important endeavor."

Matrone Mack will be replacing Dennis Duffy who resigned from his position earlier this year.

"I also want to thank Dennis Duffy for his dedication to the state while he served on the Board of Directors, and I wish him the very best," added Raimondo.
