Free electronic waste drop off at Cranston Public Library

Free Electronic Waste Drop Off Offered at Cranston Public Library

On Saturday, November 14, Cranston Public Library will hold a free electronic waste drop off in the Central Library parking lot. Local, family-owned company Indie Cycle will collect unused, unwanted, and broken electronics for safe and environmentally sound disposal from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Accepted items include computers, TVs, and toner cartridges, as well as phones, microwaves and stereo equipment. Visit cranstonlibrary.org/electronic-waste-drop-central for a detailed list of accepted items.

When Indie Cycle collects electronic waste, the items don't end up in a landfill; instead, the parts are recycled, refurbished or reused domestically. Learn more about Indie Cycle online at indiecycle.blogspot.com.

The Central Library is located at 140 Sockanosset Cross Road, Cranston RI 02920.
