Broncos hold on to top Patriots, win AFC Championship Game

The Denver Broncos are headed to Super Bowl 50 after holding on for a 20-18 victory over the New England Patriots Sunday in Denver.  Peyton Manning threw 2 TD passes to Owen Daniels and the Broncos defense held off a last second Patriots rally for the win.

The Broncos will face the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 after the Panthers 49-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship.

Stephen Gostowski's first extra point miss since his rookie season in 2006 forced the Patriots to go for a two-point conversion after a Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski TD with 12 seconds left in the game rallied New England to win 20-18. But, former Patriot Aqib Talib tipped a Brady pass for Julian Edleman to stop the play as Bradley Roby picked off the pass.

The Denver defense sacked Brady forced four sacks and two interceptions, one by Von Miller that led to the 2nd Manning to Daniels TD that gave Denver a 14-6 first half lead.
