NCAA Tournament -Friars eliminated by UNC

Saturday night

Providence is eliminated from the NCAA Tournament by North Carolina, 85-66 Saturday night.  The #9th seeded Friars were tied at 41 until #1 UNC blew the game open with a 21-9 run and never looked back.  PC's Ben Bentil fouled out with just over seven minutes in the game as the Tar Heels extended their lead. Kris Dunn, in his final game as a Friar before heading to the NBA, spent most of the first half in foul trouble with two early fouls.   It could a;sp be the final game at Providence for Bentil, who could also decide to go pro.
