Fairy Houses
Saturday, June 4 & Sunday, June 5  •  11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Children use a variety of natural and found materials to create imaginative dwellings for fairy friends.  

MetLife Family Friday | Summer Reading Kick-Off
ALSO Friday, June 17  •  5:30 - 7:30 PM

Start off a summer of reading with activities and recommended booklists from Rhode Island children’s librarians, and learn how to get involved in the summer reading program at your local library.  Presented by The Rhode Island Office of Library and Information Services; recommended for ages 4 to 10.
Providence Children’s Museum is open free of charge every Friday evening June through Labor Day from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for “MetLife Family Friday – Free at Five!,” sponsored by MetLife Foundation.  Stay out late and splash, play, explore and discover!

Happy Father’s Day!
Sunday, June 19  •  9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Admission to Providence Children’s Museum is free all day for dads and granddads.  From 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, families stack and build with big blue foam Imagination Playground blocks to construct castles and forts, invent interesting sculptures and more!

Bubble Blast
Tuesday, June 21  •  1:00 - 3:00 PM

Kids experiment with ways to blow bubbles big and small using an assortment of interesting tools in the Museum’s Children’s Garden.

Mud Play
Saturday, June 25 & Sunday, June 26  •  11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Dig, scoop, build and mess around with mud and natural materials and mold marvelous mud pies in celebration of International Mud Day.

Stomp Rockets
Tuesday, June 28  •  1:00 - 3:00 PM

Kids use the power of air to blast a rocket high in the sky in the Museum’s Children's Garden
