Cranston Public Library to extend William Hall Library hours

Cranston Public Library to Extend William Hall Library Hours Starting June 20

Cranston Public Library is pleased to announce the addition of morning hours at the William Hall Library beginning June 20, 2016. The library location will now open two hours earlier, two days a week.

"A busy library like William Hall is always in need of more open hours," explained William Hall Library's Branch Librarian, Adrienne Gallo. “We're looking forward to providing morning hours to our patrons for the first time in over ten years. We know that the additional time will be a most welcome addition to the community.”

“We are on a mission to bring the residents of Cranston the public library service that they want,” said Cranston Public Library Director, Ed Garcia. “In our 2013 Community Needs Assessment, the community asked for more service hours at our branches and we have been focused on making that request a reality.”

The William Hall Library is the third Cranston Public Library location to see additional service hours within the past year. In August 2015, the Cranston Public Library also added hours at the Arlington Branch, located at the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, opening the branch on Fridays. In January 2016, the Knightsville Branch extended hours two evenings a week.

The William Hall Library's new hours will be as follows:
MON & THURS: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
TUES & WED: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
FRI & SUN: Closed
SAT: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The William Hall Library is located at 1825 Broad St, Cranston RI 02905. To learn more about Cranston Public Library, visit their website at cranstonlibrary.org.
