Panthers at Broncos (Thursday 8:30pm)
A Super Bowl rematch to get things going this season. A new QB for Denver (Trevor Siemian) but a familiar loss for Carolina.
Bucs at Falcons (Sunday 1pm)
Is this the year the Bucs fulfill some potential and climb up the NFC South standings? Do you remember that the Falcons were undefeated in October last season?
Bills at Ravens (Sunday 1pm)
It's Week 1 and Rex Ryan (and brother Rob) are already on the hot seat in Buffalo. Could be a long (and final) season there.
Bears at Texans (Sunday 1pm)
Looks like J.J. Watt (back) could play for Houston in Brock Osweiler's debut.
Packers at Jaguars (Sunday 1pm)
The Jags are a sexy pick in the AFC South. Unfortunately for them in week 1, the Packers are a sexy Super Bowl winning pick.
Chargers at Chiefs (Sunday 1pm)
The offseason stadium turmoil turns into regular season turmoil for the Chargers as the Chiefs could roll here.
Raiders at Saints (Sunday 1pm)
Let's get this out of the way - are the Raiders for real? Could be a good week for QB Drew Brees - a win and a $44 million extension in the works?
Bengals at Jets (Sunday 1pm)
Poor ol' Bengals. Never ready for primetime. But, they are good enough to win on Sunday afternoons.
Browns at Eagles (Sunday 1pm)
To say the least, this one's intriguing. Robert Griffin vs. Carson Wenz in a battle of QB's in a battle of what now seems like rebuilding teams.
Vikings at Titans (Sunday 1pm)
No Teddy Bridgewater (knee) as Shaun Hill takes over until Sam Bradford is ready. Yet still, Minnesota should have enough to topple Tennessee.
Dolphins at Seahawks (Sunday 4:05pm)
Poor Dolphins. Open in Seattle and then fly 3,000 next week to play what could be an angry Patriots (albeit without Tom Brady) in Foxboro.
Giants at Cowboys (Sunday 4:25pm)
Eli Manning sure does love him some Cowboys. But, can the G-Men take out the fun from the Dak Prescott premiere?
Lions at Colts (Sunday 4:25pm)
The turnaround begins in Indy. The Calvin Johnson-less era begins for the Lions.
Patriots at Cardinals (Sunday 8:30pm)
No Tom Brady for the Pats as the folly that is Deflategate finally sinks in. The Cardinals, with ex-Patriot Chandler Jones, will be sky high for this opener.
Steelers at Redskins (Monday 7:10pm)
Another sexy Super Bowl pick here with the Steelers, who open up without Le'Veon Bell (suspended 3 games) and Martavis Bryant (suspended for season). Does anyone really know what to expect from Washington?
Rams at 49ers (Monday 10:20pm)
The Rams are back in LA, well SF for the opener. The spotlight will be on Colin Kaepernick's pregame Anthem antics. Count yourself a diehard if you stay up late for this one.
