Halloween Happenings at Providence Children’s Museum

Families enjoy a host of hands-on Halloween happenings at Providence Children’s Museum:

Creepy Creatures
Saturday, October 29  •  Noon - 2:00 PM

Lizards, snakes and frogs, oh my!  Kids come in costume and meet some captivating critters – prickly, hairy but not too scary.  Have close encounters with furry friends, slithering snakes and other incredible creatures and learn fascinating facts about them from animal expert Dave Marchetti of Animal Experiences.
Underwritten by Providence Tourism Council.

Boo Bash
Sunday, October 30  •  11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Kids and families come in costume and have a blast exploring a host of bewitching activity stations during Providence Children's Museum's annual hands-on Halloween bash:

•    Step into the mad science lab to experiment with slippery slime, mess around with magical mixtures, and send creepy creatures careening through howling air tubes.
•    Try imaginative arts and “witch crafts” – inscribe intriguing messages in invisible ink, make mixed-up monsters, and fashion frightening fingerprint creatures.
•    Play ghoulish games galore – including ghost “boo-wling” and a bat toss – and design and decorate a dragon’s lair.
•    Settle in for spooky storytime to hear haunted Halloween tales.
•    And join a scavenger hunt to uncover mysterious surprises throughout the Museum!

All activities are free with Museum admission of $9.00 per person; free for Museum members. For more information, including a full calendar of events, visit www.ChildrenMuseum.org.
