PC and URI make the NCAA Tounament

The URI Rams and the PC Friars will both be dancing in this week's NCAA Tournament.

URI won Sunday's Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship with a 70-63 win over VCU in Pittsburgh.  For that victory, the Rams were rewarded with its first NCAA Tournament trip since 1999.  They'll be an 11th seed and play #6 Creighton in a Midwest Region game Friday in Sacramento, California at 4:35pm (ET).

Providence's trip to the NCAA Tournament is a bit harder as they've been made an #11 seed but have to play #11 USC in a play-in game Wednesday night in Dayton, Ohio at 9:10pm (ET).  If the Friars win that game, they'll travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a matchup with #6 SMU at 3:10pm.  It's the fourth straight NCAA appearance for the Friars, a school record.
