Porcello named Red Sox Opening Day pitcher

The Red Sox have named Rick Parcello as the team's Opening Day pitcher.  Manager John Farrell announced Wednesday morning that Porcello, the reigning American League Cy Young Award Winner, will start April 3rd at Fenway Park against the Pirates.  Chris Sale will pitch game two.

The rest of the rotation will be named at the end of spring training.  David Price is expected to start the season on the disabled list (elbow/forearm).
