William Hall Library to Hold Second Annual Agricultural Fair on Earth Day

On Saturday, April 22nd, the William Hall Library will hold its second annual "Seed 'Em & Reap: A How-To Agricultural Fair." This free fair will take place from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, and will feature informational how-to tables focusing on everything from small space gardening and composting, to chicken keeping.

Information will be presented by the Edgewood Garden Club, URI Master Gardeners, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, and Cluck!. Giveaways include free soil testing, free seeds, gardening crafts, and more.

The fair will also serve as the kick-off event for the William Hall Library’s Seed Library. This year, donors include High Mowing Organic Seeds, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, Burpee Seeds, and seeds provided by local gardeners.
