Raimondo Hosts Governor For A Day Mianna Gonsalves 

PROVIDENCE, RI - Governor Raimondo hosted her third Women's History Month Essay Contest winner Friday. East Providence fifth-grade student Mianna Gonsalves was sworn in as the 2017 Governor for a Day in the State Room, before starting a packed day of events, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Westerly Education Center, a healthy cooking demonstration at Johnson & Wales University and a roundtable discussion with female leaders in government. Mianna's swearing-in ceremony was attended by many public officials, including Presiding Justice Alice B. Gibney and state Supreme Court Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg.
