PPL Empire Club Presents – A Conversation with Author Paul Greenberg
PROVIDENCE, RI -- Providence Public Library presents an On the Table edition of its Empire Club: A Conversation with Paul Greenberg, author of Four Fish: The Future of the Last Wild Fish and American Catch - The Fight for Our Local Seafood. The program is on Friday, May 19 from 5:30 – 8 pm in the Library’s Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, 150 Empire Street, Providence. It is free and open as part of the Library’s On the Table program series from March through June. Book sale and signing to follow program.
Mr. Greenberg will discuss the state of America’s seafood culture and what he sees for the future.
Paul Greenberg is the author of the James Beard Award–winning bestseller Four Fish and a regular contributor to the New York Times. He has been featured on NPR’s Fresh Air and All Things Considered and has lectured widely on ocean issues at institutions ranging from Google to Yale to the U.S. Senate. He is currently a Pew fellow in Marine Conservation and a fellow with the Blue Ocean Institute.
