Six Flags New England celebrates Women in Uniform
SIX FLAGS NEW ENGLAND HOSTS WOMEN IN UNIFORM
THE COASTER CAPITAL OF NEW ENGLAND CELEBRATES INSPIRING WOMEN AND THEIR EFFORTS
Six Flags New England invited 20 inspiring Women in Uniform from throughout New England to celebrate their work from a range of empowering careers including law enforcement, military, firefighters, and EMTs.
These leading ladies have epitomized the iconic symbol of women leading strides in the workforce and challenge the social norm. The women were recognized in a special morning ceremony Saturday while receiving the VIP treatment at the Coaster Capital of New England with their families.
20 phenomenal women in uniform from across New England were invited to Six Flags New England to be recognized during Mother’s Day weekend. These women are breaking the glass ceiling for women in the workforce.
These extraordinary ladies are our local Super Heroes in a variety of industries including military, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and more. The mission of this event is to inspire future successful women along with sharing their stories to the world. Each Six Flags park around the country will be celebrating this event on the same day with 20 selected women at each park. The number 20 recognizes the number of Six Flags properties within the Six Flags Entertainment Cooperation, including its two newest parks Oaxtepec in Mexico City and Waterworld California.
“Six Flags New England is honored to recognize these leading ladies in a variety of empowering fields. Their commitment to service and our communities is inspiring and are very well deserving of a VIP experience at the parks with their families. Here at the Coaster Capital of New England we would like to recognize all moms this Mother’s Day and commend them for everything they do”, says Communications Manager, Jennifer McGrath.
