Red Sox Sale to start All-Star Game

Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale has been selected to start for the American League at the MLB All-Star Game Tuesday night in Miami.  Max Scherzer from the Nationals will start for the National League.

Sale, who is the first pitcher to start the All-Star Game in consecutive seasons for two different teams, is 11-4 with a 2.75 ERA in the first half for the first place Red Sox.  Dave Steib started back-to-back games for the AL in 1983-84 while with the Blue Jays.
