Hightower, Solder return to Patriots practice
Good news at Patriots practice Tuesday as LB Dont'a Hightower and LT Nate Solder have returned. Hightower gets his first practice of the preseason, coming off the PUP list. ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss had the news Tuesday afternoon.

The Patriots and Lions also announced Tuesday that they will not have a joint walkthrough Thursday in Detroit. Instead, the teams will have separate walkthroughs before Friday's preseason game at Ford Field.
