NFL Week 2 Picks
We're back for week 2 after taking our lumps in week 1! Let us know who you think will win too! Plus, play our Pro Football Picks Contest to win a trip to Hawaii.
Texans at Bengals (Thursday 8:25pm)
Thanks NFL for this barn burner of a matchup. Loser here probably in for a very long season as 0-2 teams don't make the playoffs. QB DeShaun Watson gets his first NFL start in what is already a revolving door at QB for Houston.
Patriots at Saints (Sunday 1pm)
Yes, we did mention that 0-2 teams tend not to make the playoffs. The losing team here might buck that trend. The injury-ridled Pats need to shake the doldrums of a bad 4th quarter loss to KC Opening Night and have had 10 days to stew on it. The question in New Orleans, besides always being about a bad defense, is will RB Adrian Peterson stalk head coach Sean Payton on the sidelines again.
Browns at Ravens (Sunday 1pm)
OK, call me crazy. But gut instinct says Cleveland. No reason why, just pure gut instinct.
Bills at Panthers (Sunday 1pm)
QB Cam Newton looked rusty in SF last Sunday, but still walked away with an easy win. Cam is sure loving his new toy, RB Christian McCaffery.
Cardinals at Colts (Sunday 1pm)
Yes, the Cards are without RB David Johnson (wrist) for 2-3 months. But even that shouldn't stop them from beating the Colts, who are already on to QB #2 in Jacoby Brissett.
Titans at Jaguars (Sunday 1pm)
What were you more surprised at week 1 - the Jags spanking the Texans in Houston or the Titans losing at home to the Raiders? Things could be different in Jacksonville this season.
Eagles at Chiefs (Sunday 1pm)
Andy Reid's past meets his present. KC suffered a big loss with CB Eric Berry (achilles) down for the season, but they sure looked good dominating the Patriots in Foxboro Opening Night.
Vikings at Steelers (Sunday 1pm)
The rust should be off RB Le'Veon Bell this week. And that should spell problems for the Vikes.
Bears at Bucs (Sunday 1pm)
Week 2 means week 1 for the Bucs, thanks to Hurricane Irma. Weapons galore for QB Jameis Winston, who adds WR DeSean Jackson to the stable of weapons.
Dolphins at Chargers (Sunday 4:05pm)
Just like the Bucs, it's Opening Week for the Dolphins too. The comfy, cozy crowd in LA should be in for a treat in QB Jay Cutler's debut for the Fins.
Jets at Raiders (Sunday 4:05pm)
Just what the Jets needed after an anemic road loss in Buffalo - a 3,000 cross-country trip to the Black Hole. Strap in Gang Green.
Cowboys at Broncos (Sunday 4:25pm)
Good news for Dallas: RB Ezekiel Elliott still gets to play this week. Bad news: Von Miller still plays for the homestanding Broncos.
Redskins at Rams (Sunday 4:25pm)
Could the Rams actually be 2-0 to start the season?
49ers at Seahawks (Sunday 4:25pm)
Yes, the bickering between offense and defense has already begun in Seattle. The better news is that they'll be on the same page against the Niners this week - the winning page.
Packers at Falcons (Sunday 8:30pm)
It's homecoming for the Falcons and their new stadium. Somehow, Atlanta survived a first and goal by the Bears in Chicago last Sunday to not blow another lead late in the fourth quarter. They may not be so lucky this week.
Lions at Giants (Monday 8:30pm)
Question #1 for the Giants - can they score a touchdown without Odell? Hopefully for NY, they won't have to find out and Beckham plays.
